International TV production company Endemol, which created the recently retired reality series Big Brother, has opened a new office in Manchester.

Remarkable Television, a subsidiary of Endemol, has taken up space within Invicta House in order to produce the forth series of BBC 3 series Snog, Marry, Avoid?

It is understood that the company has opened its first office in the area in response to the BBC’s move to MediaCity UK in Salford, to meet potential demand within the region.

A statement from Endemol, explained "The BBC is committed to regional production and where possible often looks for opportunities to make programmes around the UK.

"Manchester has exceptional production facilities and a pool of talented media professionals, so the production team at Remarkable Television, an Endemol company, decided to make series four of Snog, Marry, Avoid? there."

Endemol has also recently worked with Manchester City FC in producing its recently released film, Blue Moon Rising.
