A global marketing office is to be set up in Dublin by William Grant & Sons as it aims to build its non-scotch marketing.

The Dublin office will oversee the entire global marketing operations for the company’s non-scotch brands including its recently acquired Tullamore Dew Irish Whisky.

The office of 17 will be headed up by group marketing director Maurice Doyle and follows the acquisition by the company of C&C’s portfolio of Irish spirits and liqueur brands in July for around £249m.

Despite the opening of the office in Dublin, Doyle will also continue to oversee the William Grant & Sons marketing office in the UK, which manages Scotch brands such as Grant’s and Glenfiddich.

Meanwhile, Enda O’Sullivan has been brought on board as global brand director of Sailor Jerry’s, which will be managed in Dublin.

Further appointments are expected to be made in the near future.
