Sports statistics site Statbunker has launched what it describes as the "definitive iPhone App for Manchester United".

Statbunker, which had its corporate identity and website designed by CheethamBellJWT in Manchester, has created the unofficial Man U app with Leamington Spa company Missing Ink Studios.

It features United's complete Premier League and Champions League history and is aimed at fans who want "an edge over the bookies" or an "advantage in the local pub quiz".

The £2.99 app contains myriad stats about leading scorers, recent form, matches and red and yellow cards. Statbunker claims the app's level of information is not available from any other source.

Fans will also receive live scores, bookings, red cards and substitutions sent to their phones for every Man Utd match.

Statubunker plans to roll out apps for the rest of the Premier League teams in the coming months.
