Innovation Digital has appointed Kevin O’Hara as the managing director of its Glasgow-based digital agency.

O’Hara will replace Robin Grant in this role as the company undergoes a restructure following Robin’s decision to take on a new Group-wide role.

O’Hara joined Innovation Digital, an operating division of Innovation Business Vision Ltd (IBV), in early 2008 as commercial director. Prior to that, he worked in a number of senior management positions within the voluntary, public and private sectors. During the last two years he has grown the Innovation Digital client list, which includes Aggreko, The Weir Group, Forest Holidays and Capita.

Innovation has also struck new partnerships with organisations like EpiServer and Randak Design.

O’Hara will head up a three-strong management team which will include Zoë Kelleher, Digital Director and Zach Watt, Director of Business Systems.

IBV CEO, Peter Hawkins, said: “With our recent global expansion, the restructuring will allow Robin to focus on the implications of delivering multiple projects and developing key relationships in Hong Kong, the United States and Germany. We took a long time in making this decision of who would be best to lead the division forward. We believe Kevin’s unique blend of sales knowledge, leadership and management skills will prove invaluable in driving Innovation Digital forward as one of the leading full service digital agencies in Scotland.”
