A framework is set to be established by Hampshire County Council to oversee media buying for the provision of statutory and voluntary public notices and other advertising.

The council is looking to create the framework which will see successful contractors work with both paid and free press publications for the placement of its public advertising, worth between £4 million and £5 million over the length of a four-year-contract.

Between five and 50 operators are expected to be involved in the tender process.

The council wishes to publish public notices and other adverts in local press, on behalf of members of the Isle of Wight procurement partnerships, Isle of Wight Council, Rushmoor Borough Council; Hart District Council; Basingstoke & Deane Borough Council; East Hampshire District Council; Winchester City Council; Eastleigh Borough Council; Test Valley Borough Council; New Forest District Council; Southampton City Council; Fareham Borough Council; Gosport Borough Council; Havant Borough Council and Portsmouth City Council.

Requests to participate should be received by the 4 October, with invitations to tender being sent out on 8 October.
