Lothian Buses have teamed up with CBS Outdoors to advertise their open top tour services around the city, marketed under the tag line 'Wish you were here'.

CBS normally have exclusive access to both interior and exterior advertising spaces but have agreed, for the second year in a row, to hand over 90 vehicles from Lothian Buses 650 strong fleet for the purpose.

They will be used to market three open top tours of the city; City Sightseeing, Edinburgh Tour and MacTour in addition to Majestic Tours and a combined bus and boat tour.

Iain Coupar, Lothian Buses marketing director said: "Many well known brands use our buses to advertise their products so what better way to promote our own tours.”

Michael Gibb, Business Director for CBS Outdoor in Scotland added: "It’s welcome news and great to see one of Edinburgh’s biggest brands showing enough confidence in their own product and using media on the move as the main focus of their campaign to promote their tours of Scotland’s capital".

Edinburgh Bus Tours are the third most popular paid tourist attraction in Scotland behind Edinburgh Castle and Edinburgh Zoo.
