Macclesfield medical comms company sold for £11.4m

InforMed, the Cheshire-based medical marketing company, has been sold to Irish pharmaceutical firm United Drug for an initial £11.4m

The deal could rise by a further £5.9m in bonuses depending on the business's performance over the next three years.

Macclesfield-based InforMed employs 80 people and its work includes medical writing and publication planning, market research, business analysis, sales training and consultancy.

The company also has an office in Connecticut, USA.
