de Winter PR & Marketing has acquired the long-standing Chester graphic design agency kmcreative.

The two agencies have been operating from the same offices in Chester's Stocks Lane for two decades and have worked together on client projects during that time.

Kate Cox, a director at de Winter, told The Drum that the opportunity arose to acquire kmcreative because km's founder, Kerry Maddrell, had decided to step down 20 years after starting the business.

Cox now becomes joint owner of kmcreative alongside fellow de Winter director Hems de Winter.

Kmcreative will continue to trade under the same name and its four staff will keep their jobs. The combined businesses now have a team of 11 (some pictured) and Cox said kmcreative is currently recruiting for more.
