PRCA FrontLine, a group which provides advice and support for PR professionals, has appointed two Birmingham practitioners to relaunch its Midlands arm.

Megan Woods of Sutton Coldfield PR consultancy Haslimann Taylor and David Kuczora of Clive Reeves Public Relations in Birmingham, have been announced as chair and vice chair, respectively.

Over the coming months Woods and Kuczora will work with FrontLine members to hold a series of social and training events for members of PRCA-accredited agencies and communications teams across the region.

Richard Smith (pictured, centre, with Kuczora and Woods), the chair of PRCA Midlands, said: “The Midlands has a vibrant PR industry and FrontLine has a crucial role to play developing a sense of community among young PR professionals from both agencies and in-house communications teams.

“Megan and David will be working closely with FrontLine members over the coming months to deliver a calendar of networking, social and training events to equip the next generation of PR practitioners with the tools they need to progress their career”.

FrontLine officially relaunched in the Midlands last week as its members took part in a ‘Have I Got News For You’ themed pub quiz in Birmingham. It was hosted by the Birmingham Post’s Tom Scotney, fresh from a recent appearance on Mastermind.
