Kitchen textiles firm Ulster Weavers has appointed Custard Media to help promote its web offering via search, social media and online PR.

Custard will handle press releases, link building, blog management, social bookmarking and social media management to boost awareness of the brand and its collections online.

Ulster Weavers' marketing manager, Kim MacKenzie, said: "The approach for brand awareness this year is to strengthen our online presence via PR, social media and blogging.

"We have discovered increasingly over the last 18 months that our customers love engaging with us about the designs and products we produce. Blogging and social media are perfect marketing tools to achieve just that."

Sam Allcock, Custard Media’s managing director, added: “We’ve already made significant progress with promoting Ulster Weavers on social media channels and natural search and we look forward to continuing to boost their online sales.”
