The Roses Design Awards return to their home in Manchester after a year’s sabbatical in Nottingham. Nominated work ranges from blue chip brands to niche enterprises, proving that design makes a difference to every business.

After a one year hiatus, which saw the Roses Design Awards adjourn to the climes of the East Midlands and Nottingham, the 2010 Awards are back in the place that they call home... Manchester.

Once again entries from across the UK vie to catch the attention of this year’s high profile judging panel, chaired by Fiona Curran, design director, Williams Murray Hamm.

The panel also included Lee Coomber, senior partner at Lippincott; Adrian Burton of Lambie-Nairn; Gareth Howat, co-founder of Hat-trick Design Consultants; and creative consultant David Booth, former group creative director of the integrated agency, Billington Cartmell.

The judges were more than complementary of this year’s crop of creative work, rewarding it so with a good range of nominations spread across a wide cross section of clients.

To see the full list of nominations see The Roses Design Awards 2010 website www.rosesdesignawards.com.

As well as the range of graphic and digital design categories was architecture, which was judged by its own panel of leading industry figures. The work nominated in this section can also be viewed at the Roses Design Awards website.

The Roses Design Awards take place on Thursday 14 October in the Ramada in Manchester. To book tickets or for more information see
