A foursome of pornographic novellas has mysteriously disappeared from Apple’s iBookstore chart after racking up heavy sales.

'Blonde and Wet, the Complete Story' had been ensconced in the top slot yesterday as Apple launched their first e-book chart, however by the afternoon they had been replaced by less exciting titles such as Peter Mandelson’s autobiography.

Described as “extremely graphic” the title appears to have embarrassed Apple over the predilections of its users, although the digital champion has refused to comment on the issue.

Carl East, the prolific author of over 70 sordid tales, counted titles in first, second and seventh position in the chart before it was amended, a feat which prompted the writer to ask on Amazon: “…is this really happening to me?”
