Marketing chief Patrick Allen to leave The Co-operative Group
Patrick Allen, executive director of marketing for The Co-operative Group is to leave the company after six years overseeing its marketing communications.
Allen joined the company in May 2006 in the role of marketing director of United Co-operatives before being promoted to his current role in August 2007 following a consolidation between United Co-Operatives and The Co-operative, where he has been responsible for repositioning the brand to compete with its major rivals across all of the brand’s trading sectors.
He is now set to leave to take on a ‘senior commercial management role’.
