Mere appoints Mere for PR

Mere Golf and Country Club in Cheshire is to embark on a comprehensive media liaison campaign ahead of its multi million pound redevelopment, which is to include the construction of an 86 bedroom hotel and the provision of world class spa facilities.

Appointed to handle the brief is Altrincham-based Mere PR who, as well as being tasked to manage media interest, will also be responsible for arranging a series of media and customer launch events to mark the opening of the spa and hotel.

The campaign is to run for the next 18 months.

Victoria Maltby, PR director at Mere, said of the project: “Everyone thinks they know Mere Golf and Country Club – well they won’t recognise it in 18 months time. I am really looking forward to the developments and cementing the Club’s position as one of the UK’s most exceptional golf and leisure destinations.”
