Japanese sports heritage brand Onitsuka Tiger has unveiled a new promotional film, created by Liverpool agency Liquid.

The promotional film has been produced to launch a competition run by Onitsuka Tiger in conjunction with ASOS.com and DJ Eddie Halliwell, and offers the chance to win a pair of limited edition trainers designed by the DJ.

The Mexico 66 trainers are based on the colour scheme of Halliwell’s ‘Fire It Up’ brand – orange, yellow and black – and only five pairs have been produced.

Liquid wrote, filmed and produced the video, capturing the energy of Halliwell’s live show and showcasing the exclusive trainers, whilst encouraging fans to visit ASOS.com to enter the competition.

Onitsuka Tiger brand manager Rhodri Evans said of the project: “Liquid has created a great video that really brings the competition to life and will get people excited about it.”
