Google has slammed the stable door on ‘Horseboy’ after the search engine deleted a suspect frame of their camera car's footage.

This showed one Aberdonian resident horsing around on a quiet residential street, face hidden by an equestrian helmet.

The censure comes just as Horseboy himself has been unmasked, as a man calling himself Dobbin Horsome.

Speaking straight from the horse's mouth, Dobbin claims he was at a friend's wedding the night before and thus, by chance, found himself in possession of a horse's mask just as Google’s roving car hoved into view.

In a split second decision, Dobbin donned the mask and took up position as the vehicle trundled past in a moment of “pure luck and blatant opportunism".

Despite having been sent to Google’s equivalent of the glue factory Horseboy contends that this August’s Fringe Festival could be lent some additional horsepower.
