Eventia’s 2010 summer event will be held this year at Glasgow’s SECC.

Eventia is the official trade body for the events and live marketing industry in the UK. Its Summer Eventia– one of the biggest dates for the UK event industry - will provide a mix of educational, networking and social activities designed to inspire, “inform and entertain” event professionals.

The event will also be used by Glasgow Marketing Bureau to showcase some of the best facilities and services in the city.

Summer Eventia will feature a mix of keynote presentations, topical discussions and interactive workshops, along with a number of motivational and networking activities.

The Programme Committee is made up of some of the most influential individuals from across all sectors of the event industry.

The Summer conference will be held at the SECC from 4-6 July. To find out more, or to book tickets, see www.eventia.org.uk.

Eventia aims to provide representation on important issues to Government, regulators and the corporate community. The association was created in January 2006, following the merger between two trade associations: the Corporate Events Association (CEA) and the Incentive Travel & Meetings Association (ITMA). The British Association of Conference Destinations (BACD) was subsumed into Eventia from January 2009.
