Mawhinney joins Scottish Advertising Awards judging panel

Billy Mawhinney, acting executive creative director of McCann Birmingham has joined the judging panel for this year’s Scottish Advertising Awards.

Mawhinney recently departed Manchester advertising agency, BJL and previously worked in Scottish advertising while at Faulds, as well as working at JWT, BBH, CDP, Still Price Lintas and Ogilvy & Mather.

He will be joined on the panel by Cat Reynolds senior producer from Wieden + Kennedy (Amsterdam) who has experience of working in Scotland with The Leith Agency and 1576, DDB London creative director Richard Russell, creative director of Saatchi & Saatchi Dennis Willison, Tony Miller, creative director of Fallon and Jay Phillips of McCann Erickson London.

The deadline for entries to reach The Drum is 16 July and is open to any advertising agency or client company in Scotland.
