James Watt College has appointed Halogen Communications as its public relations and media consultant as it aims to position itself as a preferred provider for learning and training.

The college has made the appointment as it says it is about to embark on ‘a period of change’ and aims to enhance its reputation through the use of a public affairs strategy.

The fee that the Edinburgh-based consultancy is set to receive for the role is advertised at £50,400.

15 tenders were received for the position.
