A framework to provide graphic design services to Cambridgeshire County Council is set to be established once tendered for by Fax Eastern Shires Purchasing Organisation (ESPO).

With a potential budget of between £1.4m and £2m over the contract period (potentially four years including extension option), the roster agencies will be tasked with handling design services for the framework which will include the design of e-brochures, publicity information and newsletters covering all aspects of the Council’s activities.

The contract may be extended by a further two years following the original agreement’s expiry.

It is expected that the maximum number of agencies that will be appointed to handle the framework agreement could be as many as 15, with the advertising notice stating that the contract is best suited to SME’s although it also states that no weighting will be added depending on whether an applicant is an SME as it seeks to compile ‘the most economically advantageous tender’.

The contract is expected to begin on 1 November, and run until 31 October 2012.

The time limit for receipt of requests for documents is 23 July.
