SB Studio creates brand for Finnish restaurant Le Soleil

SB Studio has created the brand and website for Le Soleil, a luxury bar and restaurant in Finland.

The Liverpool design and brand consultancy has applied the new branding online and to signage, brochures, menus, ad campaigns and other marketing collateral.

To "emphasise [the restaurant's] feeling of grandeur" SB directed a series of photoshoots with Sean Conboy of PhotoGenics to capture the opulent interior design. The images have been used across the marketing.

The restaurant's new website includes a content management system that will allow staff to update its photo library whenever they wish.

Benji Holroyd, SB Studio's creative director, said: "We created the new brand identity, marque and website to reflect the focus and values of the venture.

"An understated typographic approach which is consistently applied will be the foundation for all Le Soleil communication, it provides them with a clean, distinctive and legible visual identity.

"Our job was to maintain the feeling of ambient dining whilst keeping the collateral fresh and modern and retain longevity."
