A microsite has been created for Worcester Bosch Group which aims to assist renewable heating product installations to become registered under the Microgeneration Certification scheme.

Aimed at attendees to a Worcester Bosch training scheme, the ‘MCS made easy’ microsite can be found through the boiler installation company’s main website and explains the benefits of joining the scheme alongside information to make the application process simpler.

The Microgeneration Certification Scheme or MCS was set up to help homeowners who want to install renewable technologies in their home.

Martyn Bridges, director of marketing and technical support at Worcester said: “In principle, Worcester supports the requirement for an “over arching” scheme for this type of technology. However, we recognise that the way the scheme is currently structured, actually makes it difficult for installers to become accredited. We are now helping to make this process easier and have set up a special area on our website to help guide installers through the process.”

The company has also developed an iPhone application and a mobile website which will allow its customers access to important information, comprising of ‘Find a Boiler’ and ‘Find an Installer’ searches as well as contact and company information for Worcester. The Find a Boiler tool will allow installers ‘on the go’ to access information on the Greenstar boiler range.
