Storm ID works with Bitrex in run up to Child Safety week

Bitrex, the odourless substance used to dissuade children from chewing or swallowing harmful objects or products is working with Storm ID to promote Child Safety Week at the end of June.

The Edinburgh-based digital agency is to launch a YouTube channel for Bitrex, while also generating its social media presence in the UK, with the intention of adding a personal focus to its child safety message.

Child Safety Week takes place in the UK from 21 June - 27 June, and will see Bitrex task Storm ID to support is social activity with the creation of an online advertising campaign, focusing on selected industry periodicals in the build up to the week.

Vivienne MacLaren, marketing director for Storm ID, explained: “We have been working with MacFarlan Smith for two years now and Bitrex is an extremely important product where child safety is concerned. We are delighted to be launching another campaign to raise awareness of such a vital household safety tool, which many parents are still unaware exists to safeguard their children.”
