Quba & Co brings Gibe on board for digital

Sailing clothes company Quba & Co has appointed Bristol's Gibe Digital to handle its digital account.

The Bristol agency takes the reigns of the account this month after winning a four-way competitive pitch.

Its first work will be a complete overhaul of the Salcombe-based retailer's e-commerce site.

"Over the past few months we've been refining our offering to focus on an e-commerce specialist and Quba signals the first step in winning more high street e-commerce accounts," said Gibe's managing director, Pete Williams.

The new site is scheduled to be up and running "for the end of the summer", Gibe said. After launch it will go through a period of testing and further refinement to "ensure it delivers against Quba's ambitious ROI targets".
