2014 Commonwealth Games seeks creative design agency

The 2014 Commonwealth Games Organisaing Committee is seeking to appoint a an agency to handle creative design services ahead of the games.

The tender will see the appointment of an agency to handle creative design services, online and offline application, the development and application of creative guidelines over time and across disciplines and channels, as well as the delivery of associated outputs such as templates.

The two year contract will come with two options to be extend by 12 months each, and will have a budget ranging between £350,000 and £450,000 - with up to five agencies expected to be involved in the tender.

The tender will be run through Bravo Solution, with requests for documents expected by 20 June. Invitations to tender will be dispatched on 30 June.

Last month, sports management agency Sports Marketing and Management was appointed as commercial agent for the Games.

Meanwhile, The Drum has begun an unofficial creative competition to design mascots for the 2014 Commonwealth Games.
