It is one of the fastest growing areas of the digital sector, so if you have developed a killer App this year let the Dadi's distinguished judging panel see what you are capable of.

The new category has been introduced in order to recognise the work being done in one of the fastest growing areas of the digital industry and one which is expected to see further growth later this year when the recently launched Apple iPad hits UK shores.

And the Dadi's are not stopping with just one new category, as also being introduced this year is Best Video Website/Use of Video, a category that has been created to recognise the increasing use of video in online marketing campaigns and websites.

This year's Dadi judging panel has again been pulled together by one of the biggest movers and shakers in the UK digital industry, Phil Jones of Real Time Consultancy, who will act as chairman on the day to ensure that the judging is as fair and robust as possible.

Joining Phil on the judging day will be Adrian Yearwood of Tottenham Hotspur, Callan Harris of Bacardi Global Brands, Dennis Valle of Dolce & Gabanna, Rob Heasley of Naked Penguin Boy, Alastair Cox of Collective, Jon Williams of Grey, Chris Hassell of Ralph & Co, Rob Ryan of Harvsest Digital, Sam Chegwin of Clock, Matt Page of Start Creative and Sophie Goldschmidt of NBA.

Entries for the Dadi Awards, in association with Leeds Live it Love it, are now being accepted online and the entry deadline is 2 July.

The DADI Awards welcome back headline partners; Holbeck Urban Village, Leeds Media and Marketing Leeds, supported by Yorkshire Forward all coming under the Leeds Live it Love it banner and are also sponsored by News International, MadeByPi and Montpelier Chartered Accountants.
