Gordon Brown won tonights Leaders' Debate - but only just - according to a poll on The Drum website
Nick Clegg, on 41%, was not far behind. But it was David Cameron, who got just 15% of the vote who seems to have the most to worry about. He also attracted the most ridicule on Twitter.
The poll marks a sea change for Brown. In a poll last week Clegg won by 63%. Brown was on 22% and Cameron came last again with 15%
The Drum has asked leading PR experts to provide analysis on how the leaders performed.

How many people actually voted?
I suppose it is very down to personal perception but imho Cameron performed best last night - Clegg I felt was consistent but seemed shut out of some of the debate (perhaps due to the fact that he was in the middle).
Brown not only looked tired but he sounded it - his posture looked defeated.
what was refreshing about last night was that the leaders actually engaged.
I dont think there was clear winner as such - but GB was certainly the weakest of the three.
In the words of Simon & Garfunkel "All I suggest is a man hears what he wants to hear and disregards the rest". I thought Brown was strong on policy, Clegg was strong on point of difference and Cameron was strong on polish (as in Mr Sheen not Polski Sklep)
anonymous 10:01 - wise words ... pretty much agree with that one. Perception is in the eye of the beholder and all that.
