Carmony.co.uk looks to build profile in competitive used car market

Used car website Carmony.co.uk has enlisted Oxfordshire-based agency JJ to help build its brand through public relations.

The business has enlisted Oxfordshire-based agency JJ to handle its PR activity, which will focus on tactical national press releases and reactive PR, whilst trade communication will concentrate on educating dealers and manufacturers.

Consumers can search through Carmony.co.uk's easy to use lifestyle search or specifically by make/model, then create an account and add favourite cars to a ‘shopping bag’ function. The site also forces the seller do the work; consumers express an interest in cars through the site and the seller contacts them directly.

James Goddard, chief executive at JJ commented: “We’re excited about working with Carmony.co.uk and raising the profile of the site. Online, the used car world is cluttered, and our aim is to put Carmony.co.uk at the front of mind of every car buyer”.
