A new viral game has been created by Staffordshire-based TAMBA Internet to build interest in soon to be launched gameshow Scream if you Know the Answer.

TAMBA, which scooped an award at The Drum Marketing Awards last week for examining board OCR, has created a viral game which shares the show’s name, is a multiple-choice quiz format and is set on a Thorpe Park rollercoaster, where the programme is filmed.

Players are tasked with answering a range of general knowledge, celebrity trivia and logic questions but must, at the same time, use their mouse to balance a sick bucket on their lap as the rollercoaster twists and turns. The game includes video footage from a ride at Thorpe Park produced by Red Bee Media.

Hosted by Blue's Duncan James, the family game show will see members of the public teamed with celebrities to complete a series of challenges - all of which take part on the rides themselves - for a potential prize pot of £5,000. Celebrities appearing on the show include Katie Price, Phil Tufnell and Ben Shephard.

“The game emulates the experience that the celebrities have on the show of having to answer questions and perform tasks all whilst being thrown about on a rollercoaster. Having to keep the bucket balanced whilst asking questions in the game is as tricky as it would be if you were performing the show’s challenges yourself” said TAMBA Account Director, Jon Broomfield.
