GyroHSR has hired Magnetic North's production director, Warren Drumm, to head up its digital team.

The global business-to-business marketing agency says it has snapped up Drumm (pictured) following a period of growth for its Salford Quays office, which is where he will be based. The agency says it has put on new business including digital projects for clients such as Sigma, Sage and HSS in the last quarter.

At Manchester's Magnetic North Drumm worked with Kellogg's and Special K across 17 European markets. He has previously built a digital arm for marketing company Switch and been head of digital with McCann Erickson.

"I was struck by the high quality of work that is carried out by the office, and wanted to be a part of that," Drumm said. "It was also a priority for me to remain in the hub of what I believe is going to be the UK's media and digital capital in the coming years."

Danny Turnbull, managing director at GyroHSR, added: "We are really pleased to be welcoming Warren to the Manchester office, and look forward to setting his skills to use amongst our clients.”
