Trinity Mirror to launch Birmingham Post Lite
The Business Desk has reported that Trinity Mirror is to launch a free version of its flagship title The Birmingham Post, in a bid to usurp new rival newspaper, The Birmingham Press.
The ‘Birmingham Post Lite’ is set to launch next Thursday, the day ahead of The Birmingham Press releasing its first edition with both set to go to war over the advertising from the mid-market estate agents in the city.
Earlier today, Marc Reeves, editor of The Business Desk, told The Drum that its was ‘a war’ he believed that The Birmingham Press publisher Chris Bullivant could win.
