Gloucestershire College is seeking an agency to handle its recruitment advertising which will assist the College Human Resources team with its recruitment strategy.

The recruitment will cover varieties of staff from academic to administrative roles, with 198 roles advertised by the college between 2008/2009.

All vacancies are required to be advertised in local and nation press and are aimed to appeal to people in the private sector who may not have considered working in the public sector, as well as those already in education.

Online advertising will be increased, while online applications will also be encouraged, with the ultimate objective being to move to an entirely electronic based application process in the future.

To do this, the College is current developing a new website.

As part of the contract, the successful applicant will be involved in the design of that page, which should have long term sustainability and not need regular updating, other than specific vacancy information.

The agency will also provide new ideas to promote the College across a range of mediums including on-line, press (local and national), recruitment fayres, radio and other.

More information can be found through the college's recruitment portal.

Updated: Gloucestershire College has contacted The Drum to inform it that this tender has been appointed to The Place Group.
