Gear systems company David Brown has appointed GyroHSR to carry out an international PR and Investor Relations campaign.
The GyroHSR Manchester team has already handled a major re-brand for David Brown and will now look to spread the word about the company to potential investors and customers.
David Brown's gears feature in nuclear submarines, Challenger battle tanks, steel mills and coal mines. It is also moving into emerging markets with products for wind turbines, high-speed trains and solar plants and it will be GyroHSR's job to make sure David Brown is seen as a "modern and flexible" engineering company.
Fiona McFadden, head of PR at GyroHSR, said: "Our job will now be to communicate its growth strategy effectively and to make sure that the company is vocal about its ambitions to seize opportunities in new markets - particularly the rail and renewables sectors."
