The brand overhaul of wide format digital media ranger PaperlinX has been completed by Wash Design.

The Preston-based design agency has created a new identity for the company, now called dtec Media, alongside image collateral, a new catalogue, swatch and sales tool kits and a new CMS website.

Andrew Walmsley, creative director of Wash, explained: “The look consisted of a whole new grid structure and typography for all data and information sheets, supported by some strong imagery created from elements of the new logo digitally printed onto the actual substrate range, with each section having it's own set of representative images,”

He continued to explain that all sales materials produced were also digitally printed on to the substrate range demonstrating how the materials can handle colour and tone.

"It's been a great project to work on with a client willing to try new things, in what we feel is a fairly dry market as far as how they brand position themselves. There's lots of racing cars, sun flowers and pretty girls out there. Thought we'd try something else,” concluded Walmsley.
