North West PR agency Paver Smith has announced three new business wins including organising one of Clatterbridge Cancer Research's biggest ever fundraisers.

The agency has also been appointed by Rhyl Marine Holiday Park and Slazenger Heritage.

The Manchester office of Paver Smith will handle media and public engagement for the Clatterbridge fundraiser this spring.

It has been chosen to work with the north west-based charity after presenting a series of creative concepts around a mass participation event, Around the World in 80 Ways, which will launch in May.

Paver Smith Manchester director Denise Mullen (pictured) said: "The charity is asking people to pick whatever form of people-powered transportation they like to help Clatterbridge Cancer Research notch up 25,000 miles – that’s roughly around the world once – and help raise £50,000 towards beating cancer.

“The money, a minimum pledge of £2 per mile, will go towards vital laboratory equipment to keep the research moving towards getting rid of this horrible disease. We can’t wait to help.”

Rhyl Marine Holiday Park, meanwhile, is to work with Paver Smith's Liverpool office to raise its profile with families in Merseyside, Manchester and the Midlands.

Part of the agency's brief is to create a new logo and branding for the park.

For Slazenger Heritage, Paver Smith has been briefed to raise the brand's profile on a national and European level. Slazenger Heritage is being revived by Microbrands, which was formed by former JJB sports man Chris Lee.
