Studio Output gets Kleber new website

The user can choose the way they view projects, either through a traditional navigation menu or the mosaic. The Studio Output blog and other social media feeds are integrated into an overview page which functions as an alternative home page.

Kleber said the aim is to give the user a different experience when they return to the site, with interesting fresh content to keep them coming back.

To complete the site the agency enlisted the help of its former developer Ben Wise, who worked on the Beatles homesite for Apple.

"I believe it combines the best features of a 'hub' site with a portfolio and blog," Wise said of the site.

Studio Output said it identified two types of user who the site needs to cater for. People who are looking to commission work and want to see projects relevant to them can gain access to projects which are split into various disciplines. Design followers, who want to see the work in a visual format, can see what Studio Output has been upto, get information about events and find out what it's like to work at the studio.

Rob Coke, creative director of London-based Studio Output, said: "'It was important for us to have a site which is simple to use, but has the depth to reward repeated views. By using the space beyond the browser window, the mosaic solves the conundrum that creative companies have: how do you show lots of different work at once without baffling the user?

"The overview page feels like a magazine format which we can keep building. It allows us to engage more with clients and followers of our work and connect us with our social networks. It gives Studio Output a more human face."
