A new set of training material is to be designed for national governing body for cycling, British Cycling’s Coaching and Education Department by creative agency Blueleaf.

Adrian Lomas, managing director of Blueleaf, explained that the Cheshire agency’s brief would be the design of matierals to support new cycling coaches across all cycling disciplines, including BMX, Cycle Speedway, Cyclo-Cross, Mountain Bike, Road and Track.

The agency will design and produce handbooks, course illustrations, posters and certificates as well as other marketing collateral to promote British Cycling’s courses throughout the UK.

Blueleaf was originally responsible for the creation of British Cycling’s brand, as well as the production of its bimonthly Racing Calendar, and the sub-brand design and marketing for its Go-Ride initiative.

Leisure cycling site everydaycycling.com was another project which was previously developed by the agency. That site has now been integrated with the British Cycling website.
