The Henry Moore Institute has worked with Wonder Associates to create the marketing for its new exhibition by the artist Alan Johnston.

Edinburgh-based Johnston has exhibited his large scale pencil drawings in Europe, America and Japan and his latest work sees his drawings take over the walls at the Henry Moore exhibition space in Leeds.

Manchester-based Wonder Associates worked collaboratively with the Institute's team and Johnson to create the exhibition's marketing. The artist drew his trademark irregular pencil marks which Wonder then applied to large scale display adverts and an animated trailer which is being shown in the venue itself, on large outdoor screens in Leeds and online.

Rebecca Land, the Henry Moore Institute's communications manager, said: "With a show that’s completely site-specific it can be really difficult to convey its character to potential visitors, but Wonder’s imaginative, copy-based campaign does this brilliantly.

"As an organisation with a largely academic outlook, the Institute is only just starting to experiment with online marketing and the animated trailer gives us the perfect platform to connect with new audiences.”

The Henry Moore Institute last year worked with Wonder to promote its Sculpture in Painting exhibition. The agency's work saw its large-format graphics dominate the building's traditional marble facade.
