Manchester marketing agency Momentum has hired Julie Timmins as an account manager.

Timmins, who started her marketing career at Bovis Homes, moves from nearby rival Blue Chip, where she worked on clients including Kellogg's, innocent, 3M and the Co-operative.

She will now put her experience of promotional and experiential marketing campaigns to use on Momentum's clients including Cereal Partners Worldwide, Hamelin Paperbrands and Coca-Cola.

John Saxon, Momentum's client services director, said: "The industry is emerging from some tough times that, in many ways, are far from over. But with our business now showing strong growth, it’s crucial that we bring the best talent on board and

Julie fits the bill perfectly.”

Momentum says the appointment follows a busy period for the agency in which it has won new clients including the Baxi Group, Natuzzi and Dalehead Foods.
