A viral campaign has been created to promote McSween Haggis, featuring Scottish Rugby International Chris Paterson.

The short film has been created by Great Circle and Storm ID to show what happens when a rugby players kicks a 5lb haggis through a goal and is part of the digital marketing campaign to promote the brand’s 1-minute haggis.

The campaign uses a combination of competitions, online advertising, paid search, new site pages and social media techniques to drive traffic to campaign-specific pages.

Facebook and Twitter sites feature prominently and will be used to support a six-month UK wide roll-out of the product in all of the major multiples and a wide array of independent retailers.

MacSween recently promoted an online offer of 500 boxes of the 1 minute Haggis.
