White Rose Shopping Centre has appointed Leeds agency fuse8 to handle its creative, PR and digital marketing requirements following a three-way pitch.

The Land Securities-owned shopping centre, which houses more than 100 stores on the outskirts of Leeds, is planning a "six-figure" 12 month campaign involving TV, radio and outdoor advertising.

Consumer media relations activity, a social media strategy and improvements to its website are also planned.

Paul Smith, White Rose's marketing manager, said: "We undertook a significant research project last year that used consumer-based market segmentation to provide us with a great degree of insight. Our brief was to create a versatile, fresh and engaging campaign that would connect with consumers."
