A hard back book has been designed by Words&Pictures (W&P) Education as an introduction to its services while seeking business from schools and colleges.

Gustav and the Talking Tower is the story of a school which learns to have its work known by the community, leading teachers in a darkened forest where their hard work is hidden – and shows them how to escape into the light through using Total School Message.

The book includes illustrations and has been written in the language of a traditional children’s story to target senior teachers.

The idea was dreamt up by Simon Malcolm, managing director of W&P alongside creative director Andy Holt as an introduction to the company for key decision makers in schools and colleges.

Hollie Revell was the Designer and illustrator of the book.

“We take story telling very seriously,” said Malcolm.

“Our Total School Message is a compelling narrative showing headteachers, governors, pupils and other key people, how they can improve the standing of their school. Gustav and the Talking Tower bolsters our credibility in pitching for work.”
