Welsh Brewery chain SA Brain and Co is to launch a digital campaign to coincide with the beginning of the Six Nations Championships.

The ‘Anthem Karaoke’ campaign, devised by Cardiff digital agency Sequence, will look to engage rugby fans and have them sing and record their favourite rugby anthem and upload the result onto its specially created microsite.

The site will go live on 5 February and will offer prizes including rugby tickets and Brains merchandise as incentives.

A public vote will decide which singers are worthy of winning prizes while also electing the overall winner at the end of the Six Nations tournament.

The competition will be marketed through social media platforms such as Twitter and Facebook alongside radio station, Red Dragon FM.

Richard Davies, sales and marketing director at Brains said: “The Anthem Karaoke concept is inspired and will provide a huge amount of entertainment for participants and voters alike.”
