Two Aberdeen teenagers have launched NND Scotland, a news site and photo wire dedicated to reporting on national Scottish news and imagery.

"While we have had the fortune of running a successful multinational media venture for the past year, we decided that we would like to focus on Scottish national news," said Scott Campbell, editor and chief photographer at NND Scotland.

"Our team has done tremendous work, and we feel that we have a unique perspective to offer our Web readers, and the publications who would like to syndicate our material in Scotland."

The site, which launched on Friday, was created after the duo ran a year-long international online media venture, Net News Daily, which attracted up to 50,000 daily readers and generated global content syndication deals.

NND Scotland has already seen imagery syndicated to The Scotsman, the BBC News website, The Deeside Piper and The Donside Piper.

At launch, the service features 4 young reporters and photographers across Scotland.

Editor and chief photographer Scott Campbell said:

"We have seen tremendous success tapping into the voices of the younger generations at Net News Daily in the past year," said Scott Campbell, Editor and Chief Photographer at NND Scotland. "We feel that the reporters we have on staff offer a fresh take on news and events, and offer a voice that is untapped in the current media landscape."
