Glasgow, London and New York-based design studio Marque has merged with fashion, entertainment and brand agency Starworks.

Starworks has acquired Marque founder Mark Noë’s shares, in order to "realize the collaborative vision" of Starworks founder, James Grant and Marque founder, Mark Noë.

The deal, for an undisclosed sum, sees Starworks become the new shareholders of Marque. The collaboration allows Marque and Starworks to offer a full range of services for premium, fashion and lifestyle brands.

Mark Noë remains as managing director of Marque, which also retains its name, and joins the Starworks group management team. The entire Starworks Group team is 100 people across five locations, including Los Angeles, New York and Madrid.

All of the existing Marque team remain and Marque is currently hiring to help deliver on new projects. The new group has already been involved in several international pitches together this year.

Starworks has offices in Los Angeles, New York, London and Madrid. Starworks leverage relationships in popular culture and infiltrate close knit communities to offer their clients a range of services in casting, VIP services, celebrity styling, production, public relations, editorial casting and licensing.

Clients include Louis Vuitton; Uniqlo; Morgans Hotels; Thomson Hotels; Agent Provocateur; Aquascutum; Burberry; Chloe Fragrance Christian Dior ; Clinique; Miu Miu; Montblanc ;Yves Saint Laurent; Etro; Lacoste; Loewe; Hogan ; Another Magazine ; Italian Vogue ; V Magazine; Wonderland Starwood Hotels; and La Mamounia Hotel.

Marque’s clients include Haunch of Venison; The Galerist Istanbul; David Collins; Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games; Baillie Gifford; Riverside Transport Museum; Oliver Spencer; Haluk Akace; and Mubadala.

Mark Noë said of the deal: “I found a kindred spirit in James and am truly impressed by the agency and network he has built. Their work has truly shaped contemporary fashion and culture and have been instrumental in some of the most visible and impressive campaigns of recent years. The vision and passion that James has and the quality of his team, I believe is very rare. We very early on, after a series of pitches together, knew the power that our joint resources could have. The Marque team and I totally celebrate collaborating with leaders in their field, whether that be architects, designers, photographers or artists, and Starworks allows us to take this collaborative approach to the next level. I am very excited about the future and the opportunities we already have in the pipeline, across the world."

2010 will see new headquarters in New York which will house Starworks, Marque and Marque Digital teams and a new building in London which house Starworks and Marque’s London team.
