Love has appointed Mike Hughes from St Luke's as its new creative head.

Hughes leaves the London agency for Manchester after six years working on brands including BMW, British Airways and IKEA.

Phil Skegg, Love's founder and creative director, said: "We are delighted to bring Mike onboard fulltime. While at St Luke's he worked on leading brands across various industries and created many innovative campaigns.

"Mike has already worked with us to create some amazing work for Sony Playstation and we look forward to working with him more."

Before joining St Luke's, Hughes worked freelance at Albion, BMP DDb, 4Creative, HHCL/Heresy, Mytle and WCRS.

He said: "Love is creating some great work across all their accounts but specifically Umbro, Playstation and Dr Martens so it’s an exciting time to join. Manchester is a great city with a growing creative community."
