Business organisation Sussex Enterprise has issued a tender as it seeks a supplier to create and support its new website and associated systems.

The tender explains that it is seeking a supplier to design a website that allows Sussex Enterprise members to communicate with each other, and to be communicated with and allows them access to buy additional products and services.

The successful applicats will also design a site that allows North Hampshire Enterprise members to communicate with each other, and to be communicated with and allows them access to buy additional products and services and will supply and configure E-Commerce and other software and applications as well as training personnel at Sussex Enterprise in day-to-day management of the website.

Another task will be to support and maintain the website to agreed service levels.

The design of a new site is necessary as the existing website was primarily designed for Business Link, and with the move of this contract to Serco in April 2010, there is a need for the design of a website which is specifically tailored for Chamber and associated commercial services.

North Hampshire also has its own website which also needs to be revamped.

The closing date for submissions is 15 January with a decision due on 29 January.
