High Street discount health and beauty chain Semichem has launched a new advertising campaign to promote its e-commerce site.

The new TV campaign to promote the site has been produced by Daily Record Creative and will initially run in two TV regions, Granada and the West Country.

The 20 second ads three key products – Calvin Klein Crave, FCUK Connect gift sets and Paul Smith Women.

Colin McLean, Chief Operating Officer for Semichem, said, “This new campaign will help us get the message across that our website features over 2000 products including great discounts on branded celebrity and designer fragrances.

“By running the campaign in areas where we do not have stores it allows us to familiarise shoppers with the Semichem brand through the website.”

McLean continued to say that despite the recession, Semichem is to expand its presence across high streets and has opened 10 new stores in the north of England as well as new stores in Scotland and Northern Ireland, creating new jobs and attracting new customers.
