Carnival UK has briefed Elmscott to design a major new exhibition stand to promote its range of cruise brands, which include P&O Cruises.

As well as P&O, the exhibition will feature Carnival UK's six other cruise brands - Princess Cruises, Cunard, Holland America Line, Costa Cruises, Carnival and Yachts of Seabourn - when it runs at the Daily Telegraph Cruise Show in March next year.

The brands offer different cruise experiences based on taste and budget and so Elmscott has been briefed to create an environment which brings them together but ensures they are "clearly differentiated".

Darren Kefford, Elmscott's head of creative, said: "After carefully studying the seven individual brand offerings our goal was to then bring the personality and diversity of them to life. Our 'cruise experience' solution is created to truly reflect and portray the variety of cruises available from the group."

The Hertfordshire agency was appointed following a four-way pitch.

Philip Price, P&O Cruises' head of brand marketing, said: "The demographics of the cruise market have changed significantly in recent years, attracting a wider age range of customers who are attracted to the many different cruising experiences on offer. By combining the seven distinct Carnival UK brands, we aim to bring these different experiences to life under one roof."
