Tomorrow will see the launch of this year's Edinburgh's Hogmanay festival at Edinburgh Castle with the campaign created by Hillside Agency.

Neil Dalgleish, director of Hillside Agency, said: "With EventScotland's vision to make Scotland one of the foremost events destinations in the world by 2015 the design and creative brand building elements of international events are becoming even more critical to their financial success. Our expertise in the branding and positioning of events allows us to deliver impactful work of the highest quality that makes a real difference to the success of every project and how the public respond to them.'

Hillside won the latest Hogmanay commission following a competitive national tender process. The contract included the creation of a new brand identity for Edinburgh's Hogmanay 2009 / 2010, the design of the event website and the design and management of all print-based marketing communications materials including the event brochure, tickets, posters, fliers and advertising.

This will be the sixteenth year that Neil Dalgleish and Hillside have worked on Edinburgh's Hogmanay, having been involved since the first event in 1993.

Hillside has also worked for the likes of IAAF World Cross Country Championships, the World Youth Climbing Championships, CowParade Edinburgh, SLIDE, The Fort William Mountain Festival, Burns an a' that, the Original Bicycle Festival, The Celtic Cup, and The Outsider Festival, as well as music retailer Fopp.
